Here I am, procrastinating. Tomorrow, the first drafts are due, and I'm struggling with my revision versus editing lesson. And so...I search and read and research, when really, I should be grading and cleaning and grocery shopping and cooking.
But I found this--and it's pretty cool. Giving me some ideas, at least.

So, as is often the case, I set a WAY TOO HIGH deadline. But, this just lets me know that kids need more uninterrupted time (um, bus evac drills and picture reatakes were not helpful today) for their writing. I think that we'll get them in by Friday, which should allow for one-on-one conferencing through the week, giving much time for revision AND editing. That lesson went okay, by the way...
